Current Catalog: The current online catalog is a static Excel file that we will update every week. Some of the prices will not be exactly as they appear in the printed catalog. The file is just for online reference and to make the catalog available for searching. Current Catalog |

In the future, we hope to develop an online catalog that will allow you to see updated pricing, check for items we stock and their inventory levels, and hopefully to search by product, company, etc. However, due to the current demands on Biochem Stores staff, the best we can currently post is this static copy of our Biochem Stores catalog. |

Although 95% and 100% Ethyl Alcohol are listed in the Biochem Stores catalog, catalog numbers 002850 & 002900, because of governmental taxation and other restrictive governmental regulations, they are only stocked by Biochem Stores so they may be dispensed to departments of the university. Therefore if you need to purchase either of these items they must be put on a university MFK and you must fill out a Record Card stating that the alcohol will be used only for scientific purposes. |

Although Nitrogen (N2) gas is listed in the Biochem Stores catalog, it is only stocked at Biochem Stores so they can be dispensed to our Biochemistry Department. All other gases and all other departments
or personnel, without appointment with or assignment to the Biochemistry
Department, are required to purchase gas cylinders from the For basic questions concerning the operation or use of gas cylinders, the available gases, or cylinder service and delivery though General Stores, contact Steve Poggenpohl at 353-2916. Due to the hazards associated with gas cylinders, special storage and handling procedures should be followed. Failure to take adequate precautions may result in an incident similar to...The One that Got Away! Checkout Procedure: 1. Use the cylinder cart from room 4-329 to transport the new tank to your lab. 2. While you switch the cylinders, complete the Biochemistry Gas Cylinder Requisition form that will be inserted in the gas cylinder cap. 3. Leave the empty cylinder on the cylinder cart in front of Biochem Stores, away from blocking doorway path, and either leave the Biochemistry Gas Cylinder Requisition form in the cylinder cap or return it to Ty at Biochem Stores. |
